Life And Times In China

Monday again but a good one because oliver is back from shanghai. I just came back from some shopping, cause tonight im cooking! I’ve missed cooking. In berlin we did it a lot…me and oliver or together with friends…its so much fun! We had a lot of guacemole in berlin and today i had a little deja-vu so i did some…yummi! I had some problems in the chinese supermarket to figure out what was chicken and what was not. But after some minutes of looking confused and trying to explain chicken with some funny stupid moves a gut who spoke english helped me..=) Everyday I get the feeling i really need(and want) to learn chinese!!

This week i’ve been studying a lot but also had some nights of fun. Last friday i had vietnamese dinner together with some friends and then went out to some clubs. We ended up in a chinese club we’re we were the only foreigners…it was so much and the chinese guys was crazy about me and the norwegian girl that was with me. Bought us beer and we’re screaming when we danced…i laughed a lot that night=)

Work is more boring than ever, but at least im only half-time now. Weather is getting colder but we still have 20 degrees…can’t complain when u still can sit outside and eat in the evening.

In 2 weeks its halloween and i dont know what to wear..suggestions? The only kind of costume i have here is my german dress, so i could be heidi..;)..but thats not so scary. Maybee i go for catwomen or something…Soon Kanye West is playing here as well..gonna be so fun! Just hope he’s not canceling as the date and place has been changed already like 3 times. Okidoki, time to prepare dinner soon!

gruess und kuess!

It has been quiet on the blogg for a while. been quit busy and then we went for holiday in thailand. It was amazing!We stayed in a very nice hotel on koh samui. there was nothing around the hotel except the sea and palmtrees more or less. we had our own pool with a waterfall and every morning we had breakfast looking out over the sea. it was paradise=) We rented a scooter a couple of days to go around the island too see some other beaches and eat. But we liked it better at our hotel were it was more quiet and peaceful. One day we went with speedboat to another island, koh tao, for snorkeling. Water was cristalclear and the fishes beautiful. Every night we had great thai food..green curry ant tom yam soup..just cant get enought! We also had a wonderful dinner right on the beach…just me and oliver, oysters, a lot of good wine and the dark sky full with bright stars..=)

This morning we got back to a rainy beijing after 5 hours in a crappy airplane with no space for the legs and chinese breakfast. Wish i could say its goode to be back but i dont really feel like that right now…

Summer is over and beijing is cold. the only good thing about that is that i dont have to wear my summer clothes anymore and that you can stay more inside, watching movies and light candles, without feeling bad about the sun shining outside..
